Elephant Outreach Program

Annually we offer to hundreds residents of neighboring villages the opportunity to touch, feel and walk with Jabu, Thembi and Morula in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Immersed in the world of the African Elephant for two days, ten children at a time, aged between 9 – 12 years, along with two adult chaperons, participate in active educational games and share in discussions, art and music. They learn about the natural history, ecology and behavior of the African Elephant, their complex relationships with people, and explore actions that encourage a more positive relationship with elephants.
